The gym's hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM and Saturday 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, allowing for classes and training sessions throughout the week. The gym is closed on Sunday.
The Engine Room is equipped with a comprehensive array of training tools to support various boxing disciplines. Fitness boxing enthusiasts can utilize heavy bags, speed bags, and double-end bags to hone their technique and build endurance. Conditioning circuits incorporate a variety of equipment to enhance overall fitness. The gym also features mitts for focused pad work with trainers. Handwraps ($10) and boxing gloves ($65) are available for purchase in the pro shop.

- Personal Training: Sessions tailored to individual goals such as weight loss, strength building, or boxing skill development. Clients receive nutritional advice, BMI, and Body Fat monitoring. Sessions can be shared.
- Youth Boxing Program: Designed for kids ages 7-14, teaching boxing fundamentals with optional sparring (coach approval required).
- Ready to Fight: A program designed for individuals with Parkinson's disease, aimed at improving physical function, cardiovascular fitness, cognition, and balance.
- Competition Boxing Team: For dedicated athletes aiming to compete. Requires maintaining attitude, grades, attendance, and conditioning.

Personal training costs $65 per hour, or $45 per hour with a 12-session purchase.

The Engine Room is led by a team of experienced and passionate coaches. The gym is owned by Aaron Sloan, a registered cardiac nurse and a USA Boxing-certified coach, judge, and referee. Other trainers include David Perez (bilingual in English and Spanish), Terrance Reed (with over 100 amateur fights), and Wendell Armstrong (specializing in mitt work). The diverse backgrounds and expertise of the coaching staff ensure that members receive comprehensive and well-rounded training.
The atmosphere at The Engine Room is one of encouragement and support. The gym creates a welcoming environment where individuals of all levels can feel comfortable and motivated to pursue their fitness and boxing goals. New members can join by arriving 10 minutes before their first class. Trial classes are free, and walk-ins are welcome.
