Tacoma Boxing Club, located at 3109 South 60th Street in Tacoma, Washington, offers a youth boxing program for members aged 8-40, both male and female. New members pay an $85 application fee and $100 monthly dues, with registration through usaboxing.org required. Head coach Tom Mustin, leading since 1974, has trained athletes in football, basketball, and boxing, with many advancing to college and professional levels. His achievements include coaching the 2000 U.S. Olympic team, earning USA Boxing Coach of the Year (1991), and inductions into the Washington State Sports Hall of Fame (1996) and National Golden Gloves Hall of Fame (2015). Assistant coach Emmett Linton Sr., involved since 1974, trained his sons-Emmett Jr., a two-time world champion, and Robert, a Golden Gloves winner.
